Double-Take Cargo is a feature of Double-Take that reduces file size then archives them, allowing you to do more with less. What's more, Cargo's fast restore feature minimizes the time required to recover your data.

Double-Take Cargo also allows administrators to improve mirror performance and reduce disk space needed on the Double-Take target server. Cargo converts any size file to 4K. Space savings means reduced amount of data needed in a re-mirror. Additionally, Cargo provides a simple five-step, immediate file archive based on size or age of file, or the administrator can restore individual files or folders from their Double-Take repset.
