On July 29th, 2008, Double-Take® Software, Inc. announced that it completed the acquisition of emBoot, Inc. Together we provide a single source for the very best in workload optimization software including the ability to move, backup, protect and flexibly run IT workloads.

Double-Take Software has introduced a suite of workload flexibility products based on emBoot technologies:

netBoot/I (formerly winBoot/i) leverages iSCSI boot technology to allow organizations to more easily manage workloads by booting them from industry-standard iSCSI SANs.

sanFly makes it very easy for IT administrators to create iSCSI SANs using existing Windows-based servers and storage in the environment.
